HDR Compare
HDR brachytherapy source calibration benchmarking
A collaborative benchmarking platform for HDR source measurements
HDR Compare is a secure web platform for radiation oncology departments to submit local HDR source measurement results and compare their data with anonymised community trends.
The platform is intended for medical physicists involved in HDR brachytherapy quality assurance, source calibration verification, and longitudinal monitoring of source certificate agreement.
Local trend monitoring
Participating centres can view their own measurement history over time.
Anonymised comparison
Results are compared against anonymised cohorts using the same source supplier and calibration pathway.
No patient data
The database is designed for source measurement and equipment metadata only. Patient-identifiable data should not be entered.
What data is collected?
Participating centres may submit HDR source measurement values, certificate values, source supplier/model information, well chamber details, and well chamber calibration information.
Community comparisons are presented in aggregate form. Individual hospital identities are not displayed to other participating centres.
Access
Access is currently by invitation for participating radiation oncology departments and collaborating medical physicists.
